leaving no bullet unshot
this week i got bulletstorm, one of the most anticipated games of 2011. this game is a first person shooter which is the most popular genre of game. this game places you on a deserted resort planet on which you attempted to make your arch-nemesis crash onto as well. you discover a member of his team and promptly decommision him. you take one of the weapons he was using called a leash which enables you to pull enemies in close and shoot them. the leash then measures your progress through things called Skillshots. skillshots are basically creative kills that award you points based on creativity of the kills. the more basic the skillshot the less the points. the more creative the more points. the only problem i found with the game was the repetitive AI. the AI just sent enemies after you with no sense of self preservation. they wouldnt hide behind cover or anything. they would just charge after you with blind fury and crude weapons which is basically a death wish. the game hosts a blend of creative weapons whose creativity and ingenuity is splashed all over the game in glistening torrents of beauty and more importantly blood. all in all this game was amazing and a joy to play although extremely violent. the multiplayer boasts a huge range of skillshots not achievable in single player campaign and is amazing to play with a group of friends. id come back to playin a heartbeat.
